Br. Sofiane is the Al Noor Islamic School Headmaster. He holds a masters degree in Islamic Education and a PhD's in Fiqh and its fundamentals.

Br. Sofiane has been teaching for over three decades. He has experience as a religious director, teacher, and Imam in different Islamic centers and educational institutions in the New England area. He still serves as an advisor for Islamic schools and institutions in the Boston area.

What to expect

Sofiane Institute (SI) provides a weekend Islamic education program for grades 5–10, blending Quranic, Islamic, and Arabic studies with character development and civic engagement. Grounded in the values of Iman, Taqwah, Daawah, and patience, SI offers in-person Saturday classes, online Thursday sessions, and optional weekday tutoring. Parental involvement is key, with monthly remote check-ins and classroom participation encouraged. Admission is selective, based on academics, character, and community involvement, with a one-month probation. Tuition is $200/month, with financial aid available. SI fosters a safe, accessible, and values-driven learning environment.
